    Awesome Corp is an improv comedy troupe with over 35 years combined experience. The guys have performed in almost 40 states and half a dozen countries, bringing laughter with a fun blend of quick wit, fast-paced entertainment, and tons of audience participation. They have performed for all kinds of groups, from colleges and churches to coffee houses, music festivals and corporate retreats.

WHO ARE AWESOME CORP?

    Chip, Joe and Barak have known and performed with each other for years. Chip and Barak helped found Isaac Improv in 1999, and welcomed Joe into the group a short time later. After a break, the guys have reunited as “Awesome Corp” and back on the job!

Joe Hartzler grew up in the Amish country of Ohio, eventually landing in Los Angeles where he now performs at the famous Upright Citizen’s Brigade theater. Joe has appeared in several national commercials, three movies and has had his head cut off by the Headless Horseman. You have to see it sometime. It’s pretty great.

Chip Conrad has just decided to pack it all up and move from the beaches of San Diego to a cabin in rainy, rainy Oregon. We wish him luck. Chip studied with SAK Comedy in Orlando, FL, and has trained improvisers for over 13 years. He’s also held hundreds of other jobs, such as surfboard maker, Jr. High pastor, “consultant” and insurance salesman. The guy has done a lot.

Barak Hardley made the trek from Tampa Bay, FL to Los Angeles where he writes and acts. He studies with the legendary Second City and Groundlings Theaters. He currently can be seen on the Starz series “Head Case” and rides a Segway in a Vegas ad that they will not stop playing.  He was recently Chip’s best man and gave a lousy wedding present.
